Permissions Requests

A permission contract is required from the author or illustrator to reprint or reproduce material from works published by Erin Miller Books. If you would like permission to reprint or reproduce material from one of our books:

Please contact us, to let us know the exact text or illustration you are requesting permission to use, including the book title, and author or illustrators name. Tell us specifically how you intend to use the content, including the format you intend to use it in (print, online, etc.), and the illustration or text you are requesting permission to use.

Please be sure that the text or illustrations you wish to use are from one of our books; check the copyright page, credits, and acknowledgments on the copyright page of the book. If the material you would like permission to reprint is attributed to another source, please contact that party.

If the selection you wish to use falls under “fair use” guidelines, no request is needed. If you are unsure as to what constitutes “fair use,” please consult a legal professional.
